This single-storey gîte (75m2) is located on a wine-growing estate. It has its own entrance. There is a fully-equipped kitchen with dining area, a lounge, two bedrooms with double beds (140x190), a shower room suitable for disabled guests, two WCs (one of which is suitable for disabled guests) and a covered terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. The gîte has electric heating. Located on a farm, it has access to the garden and the swimming pool with views over the vineyards and the valley (shared with the other 2 gîtes).

The gîte is situated within the vineyards of Château La Piolette. In a quiet and peaceful setting, you can enjoy the surrounding rolling countryside. Close to Langon, you'll also enjoy all the advantages of the town. It's the perfect combination of being in the countryside with the conveniences of the city nearby.
Being located on the border of the Graves, Entre-deux-Mers and Saint-Macaire AOCs, this gives you an ideal base from which to explore Bordeaux's famous surrounding wine regions such as Saint-Emilion and Sauternes. You can also take the opportunity to visit pretty châteaux such as Château de Roquetaillade and Château de Cazeneuve. And don't forget the summer home of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec's famous painter: Château Malromé, which is right next door to the property! Close to historic and tourist sites, there are plenty of choices for walks.

Welcome to Château La Piolette
Emilie and Fabien are delighted to welcome you to the family estate of VIGNOBLES POUGEARD. This property has existed for over a century under the name of Château la Piolette.
The vineyards of Château La Piolette are located on hillsides on the right bank of the Garonne in the canton of Saint-Macaire (50 km south of Bordeaux). It is ideally situated in the heart of a prestigious wine-growing region. The vineyard is planted on clay gravel soil and is classified under the Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur appellations. It produces wines of the highest quality.
Having been fascinated by nature since childhood, we are driven by a deep-rooted belief in agro-ecology, where biodiversity and logic go hand in hand. We would be delighted to share our enthusiasm with you.
The Château's vines are planted in the traditional Bordeaux style.
- For the reds: Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon
- For the whites: Sémillon and Sauvignon Gris
Tradition dictates that the wines are bottled at the Château and reach their full potential in the ageing cellar.
